CPS Corruption in Arizona is the Norm

The total number of children with active cases with the Arizona Department of Child Safety is roughly 15,000. Nearly 850 of these children are confirmed missing. Families of children removed by DCS, along with a state senator, allege that the agency has been trafficking their children. CPS corruption in Arizona is destroying lives. Day after day, week after week, year after year. Yet, nobody with power seems to be doing anything to correct these injustices.

The History of CPS Corruption in Arizona

Arizona’s child welfare system has never been perfect. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone knowledgeable on the subject who’d say it’s not heavily flawed. After all, Arizona Child Protective Services has long been a symbol of failure. A bastion of mistrust, destruction, and child endangerment. To understand the current CPS corruption in Arizona, we must briefly examine crucial chapters of the past decade.

In 2009, Arizona’s economy crashed. Consequently, budget cuts were made, even to Arizona Child Protective Services. As a result, the agency became overwhelmed with a caseload it did not have the manpower to handle in a timely manner.

A prioritization system was developed to handle the cases most efficiently with limited resources. However, the lack of help and a desire to keep things out of the public eye would prove to be a costly endeavor. As a result, reports of child abuse and neglect would snowball. By 2014, there were 6,500 reports of child abuse that CPS never even looked into.

They expected processing delays. It was inevitable. However, nobody knew how bad things would get. In fact, Child Protective Services never even looked into 6,500 reports of child abuse. This was considered a blatant failure of duty and disregard for the wellbeing and protection of children. It was, in a word, laziness. After all, 6500 is a big number. As a result, many of those children were abused, neglected, assaulted, or killed.

Who’s to Blame for CPS Corruption in Arizona?

Five upper-level CPS managers eventually took the blame, though it is highly unlikely that only those five individuals were responsible for completely ignoring 6,500 reports of child abuse. This level of confirmed CPS corruption in Arizona made national news. There was so much public and political outrage that then-Governor Jan Brewer abolished the Arizona CPS.

That same year, Governor Brewer started the Arizona Division of Child Safety and Family Services. It was basically a relaunch. A rebranding effort. Child Protective Services with a new name. However, many of the same people in charge of CPS are now running DCS. Unsurprisingly, CPS corruption in Arizona has continued on. In fact, it still haunts the state of Arizona to this day.

Arizona CPS Fails Constantly

In Arizona, there are law firms that specialize in CPS cases and parents’ rights. Common allegations against the DCS include kidnapping, fabrication of evidence, perjury, and even child trafficking.

Countless families claim the Department of Child Safety removed their children from home without cause, for the purpose of trafficking the children through foster homes. One of the most alarming pieces of circumstantial evidence to these claims is that the Arizona Department of Child Safety has been losing hundreds of children per year.

Senator David Farnsworth

In October of 2019, Arizona republican state Senator David Farnsworth made public his belief that these children are being trafficked. According to Senator Farnsworth, Arizona DCS lost roughly 550 children in 2018 alone. Farnsworth said, “When I first heard about this, I believed that children from Arizona (DCS) were ending up in sex trafficking. Now, after the research I’ve done, I’m confident of it. But I can’t prove it.”

By the following June, it was reported that Arizona DCS had effectively lost nearly 300 additional children. In June of 2020, state Senator Farnsworth said, “The total is 271 children that have been taken by the Arizona Department of Child Safety out of their homes because supposedly they were not safe, and then it appears the Department of Child Safety has lost them.”

Going a step further, Senator Farnsworth claims that the murder of former Arkansas state senator Linda Collins-Smith was to silence her attempts to expose child sex trafficking in Arkansas. Farnsworth also claimed that former Oklahoma state senator Jonathan Nichols, whose death was ruled a suicide, was also murdered for the same reason.

More CPS Corruption in Arizona

Many families have been vocal about their beliefs that their children were removed based on fabricated reports of abuse for the sole purpose of being trafficked. Additionally, some families even claim that Arizona lawyers are in on the alleged trafficking operation.

This could just be a stereotypical case of bad parents saying anything to get their kids back. However, another interesting thing happened recently. Former Arizona adoption attorney Paul Peterson was convicted of Conspiracy to Smuggle Illegal Aliens for Private Financial Gain. Peterson pleaded guilty to this and other human trafficking charges in Arizona, Utah, and Arkansas – the same state where former state senator Linda Collins-Smith was murdered. If you believe the allegations of interstate child sex trafficking, this loose coincidence supports that hypothesis.

We’re Constantly Finding Out More

Arizona is home to three ICE detention facilities. You’re probably familiar with the tens of thousands of children who have been reported missing from ICE detention centers. You’re probably familiar with the popular hypothesis that these missing children have been sex trafficked. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. After all, this seems to be the norm for Arizona at this point.

Some people believe these are all just cogs in the elaborate child sex trafficking system. A far-reaching scheme that was once run by Jeffrey Epstein, who conveniently killed himself in prison off-camera before his trial could conclude. We may never find conclusive evidence of the true extent of Epstein’s organization. If you’re familiar with the case, you know he had close connections to very powerful people. People entrenched in governments and big businesses around the world.

It is possible that CPS corruption in Arizona is only the tip of the iceberg? 15,000 children remain under the care of the agency, and we don’t know how many of them are actually safe. However, that’s just ONE agency. In ONE state. If this is merely one piece in a national trafficking business, would we ever find out the exact total, or how many years this may have been going on?

Criminally Incompetence

At the very least, Arizona DCS is criminally incompetent. Eight hundred-plus missing children may be a conservative estimate, considering the 15,000 in the DCS system. The missing children, the allegations, and the long history of CPS corruption in Arizona point to a nightmarish child trafficking conspiracy at high levels of state government.

Is the Arizona Department of Child Safety running a child sex trafficking ring? Furthermore, is Republican state Senator David Farnsworth correct? Are there truly interstate child sex trafficking rings operating within the government? Is there a connection to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking organization?

It’s sad to even consider these things. However, many of these allegations are provable facts at this point. While some may only be speculation, one thing is clear. CPS corruption in Arizona is a huge problem, and it continues to destroy families on a daily basis.

Help Us Fight the Good Fight

Costs to document this historical government tragedy have been excessive. However, they are far from over. In fact, they go on to this day. Our personal expenses to fight the powers that continue to victimize our children and their families have exceeded over $1,000,000. They continue to grow by the day. In order to save face, the state of Arizona continues to blame the victims of corruption. They do so at great damage to their reputations and credibility.
